We went out to Chewelah and got to visit Holly and Hannah's Great Grandpa Pete and Great Grandma Bernie. Holly said "Grandma Birdie? Birdie's house?" It was sweet. But she really warmed up to Pete during the visit and spent a large part of it on his lap. Even shared her cookie with him! And of course Hannah was just as drooly and smiley as ever. It was a great visit. Pete is 93 now, and Bernie is 87.
